Abigail Marguerite Dreier (b. 1990, MA) is a conceptual creative striving to encourage kindness & bravery by idolizing imperfection. While her day job at hospitality startup "The Guild" keeps her busy, she also owns and operates Kind & Brave, a blog devoted to honest conversation.

Professional Experience

ABIGAIL MARGUERITE | 2012 - present | Artist & Writer

Sole owner & operator blog (and shop), Kind & Brave. Proficient in conceptualizing ideas, drawing up plans, setting goals, and meeting deadlines. Photographer of all shop & website photos and manager of all packaging & shipments. Writes, illustrates, silk-screens, sews, installs, designs, and promotes. Requires an extreme amount of passion, organization, and curation abilities.

THE GUILD | 2016 - present | Creative Director

Focuses on website design, in-room design, all in-room collateral, and marketing materials. Works closely with team and outside clients to create marketing photos, videos, hand-drawn images, maps, and guides. Collaborates with Head of Brand, Marketing Manager, Interior Designer, and Co-Founders with all necessary projects. Requires multi-tasking, efficiency, creative, and curation abilities.

WELL+DONE DESIGN | 2015 - 2016 | Creative Assistant

Worked closely with team and clients to assist in Media, SEO, Social Posts, Ghost Writing, and Creative Projects.

AUSTIN ART GARAGE | 2014 | Artist Assistant

Supported the busy owner of Austin Art Garage (Joel Ganucheau) during the bustling holiday seasons. Assisted Ganucheau with printing, cutting, framing, assembling, and packaging. 

TALLANT SOLUTIONS | 2012 - 2013 | Web & UI Designer

Used Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop to design & develop website pages and landing pages. Worked with clients one-on-one to understand their critiques & ideas for the projected site. Researched, organized, and tested usability of the newly designed websites.

THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO | 2011 | Family Education Programs Assistant

Worked with & facilitated families at The Art Institute of Chicago in The Family Education Center. Taught adults & children and assisted in the creation of their art projects. Traveled with and assisted Museum offsite trips. Helped install and oversee a small exhibition.
