How do I pay? Are transactions safe?

Kind & Brave uses Stripe, an online payment system, for processing credit cards. The system is completely safe and secure. Stripe is connected to the website hosting "Kind & Brave," so all information gathering will occur on this site alone. Please note, Stripe *does take a few days to process payments* from your bank account to mine. Any orders you place will be shipped within a week **after** this processing time.

Are the items taxed?

Tax is only required in the state of shop origin. Since I am currently based out of Austin, TX, anyone in Texas must pay a tax rate between 6 and 8.25%. Sorry, Texans!

How is shipping calculated?

The shop uses USPS Flat Rate Priority Shipping for all products ($6 and an additional $0.50 per item). This ensures that you are getting your items as quickly as possible for as little as possible. Please select the correct shipping information; if you need the items sent to you, select "USPS Flat Rate." The only time "Studio Pickup" should be selected is if you live in Austin, TX and are coming to collect the items yourself. Failing to select correct shipment method will cause shipment delays.

How soon after I order will my items arrive?

Unless otherwise specified, I send out orders on Saturday mornings at the end of every week. This means if your payment goes through on a Monday, you can expect your products to arrive 2-5 business days after Saturday of the same week. (If your payment goes through on a Thursday, you can expect the same).

Any product care recommendations?

All banners can be machine washed and dried. Be sure to remove banner from natural dowel and hemp rope before washing. Use iron on cotton setting if needed. String hemp rope back through banner to hang.

Are returns accepted?

Returns are accepted. Items must be returned within 15 days of receiving your order. At this time, I can only offer store credit for returned items. Items must be clean, odor free, unwashed, and in general good condition to receive store credit. Shipping & handling is not included.

Do you take commission work?

I would love to talk to you about branding and logo design! Please contact me for requests. I am not currently taking freelance orders for physical products. I have, however, taken them in the past and may one day accept them again. Please note custom jobs are a bit more expensive than if you were to buy off the site directly, as it takes significant time and energy to create custom orders.
